Buying a house is considered one of the biggest decisions you will ever make. Cowling Rawnsley Financial Solutions Ltd we can help you through the house buying process. See our process below:

 

 

- Initial Consultation with an adviser.

In this initial conversation over the phone, we will take all the information needed to give you an indication as to what level of borrowing you can afford.

 

 

- Decision in Principle.

Before you go and start looking at houses it is advisable to get a Decision in Principle (DiP). This is simply an initial application to a mortgage provider who will give you a promise of a mortgage (provided the information you have provided is correct). A DiP will put you in a very strong position when you finally find the house of your dreams and will help the negotiation process for the property.

 

 

- Go find a house!!

 

 

- Full Application.

Once you have found a house we will send the information requested at the DiP stage to the mortgage lender.

 

 

- Valuation.

The house has to be worth what you have agreed to buy it for. A valuation will be done by the mortgage lender to confirm that you are not overpaying.

 

 

- Offer Issued.

Once the mortgage lender is happy they will issue a formal offer of your mortgage.

 

 

- Instruct Solicitors.
